The Unfortunate Ant
After a long day of biting leaves and carrying twigs, the Worker Ant finds the colony emptier than normal. He soon realizes it has been invaded by parasites and sets out to warn the Queen about this threat.
But the way to the throne room is not easy, and the Worker Ant will have to navigate the colony with parasites that plan to make his goal hard to reach by crippling the Worker Ant.
The controls are simple
WASD/Arrow keys to Move
R to restart the level
Escape to go back to the main menu (no save function so you'll have to start over)
Enter/Spacebar to skip dialogue
I would recommend playing on fullscreen since some levels might be hard to see exactly what's going on otherwise
Tips and tricks
Read the dialogue!!! Otherwise, it will be hard to understand what's happening...
If something happens that doesn't look right, either restart the page or restart the level by pressing R. I have not been doing a lot of bug fixes so issues may occur during gameplay :D
If you don't know what you are dying from here might be some likely candidates (CONTAINS SPOILERS):
You accidentally pressed R and restarted the level by dying
You have the green parasite on you and you tried to move a key
You have the blue parasite on you and you tried to push a rock into another rock
You have the pink parasite and tried to touch the queen
This game was made for the Godot Wild Jam #67
This is the first game I've ever made, with basically zero experience in coding, animation, or anything game development. Feel free to be critical and give me some tips for my future projects :D
All the assets, sounds, music, and code are made by me (Efterblivna)
For the dialogue system, I used the Dialogue Manager tool by nathanhoad

It's impressive for a first game. It shows coherent development, humble vision, and massive talent. Please, keep practicing to create games as good as this one for the future. I will be here to play them!
A very simple game and a nice ending. Keeps you on the edge about what happens next. This game proves that you don't need graphics eye candy to come up with such a good game. Really pleased with the game, especially those puzzles. I think a more extended full blown game with these mechanics could be a potential hit. Keep up the good work @efterblivnaraven
